The Square Victoria and Square Phillips: Iconic Locations!

Reimagined in 2021 as part of the revitalization of Sainte-Catherine Street, Square Phillips has regained its heritage features as envisioned during its conception in 1841, thanks to the expertise of the City of Montreal teams and the architecture firm Provencher_Roy. Meanwhile, Square Victoria, created in 1860 and named in honor of Queen Victoria, remains an emblematic space in downtown with distinctive elements such as the statue of the queen and its famous Parisian metro entrance offered in 1967 by the Régie autonome des transports parisiens (RATP).

Today, downtown businesses invite you to rediscover and reclaim these two collective spaces through the installation of urban furniture and diverse musical performances offered by over forty artists.

This music program is brought to you by downtown businesses.
