La Virée classique OSM

From August 14 to 18, 2024, the 11th edition of the Virée classique by the Orchestre symphonique de Montréal (OSM) returns for a musical journey through the Mediterranean. From Spain to the Middle Eastern countries, passing through Italy and Greece, this edition promises vibrant colors, spicy scents, and enchanting melodies.

With around sixty free activities, participants can enjoy an opera screening, musical yoga sessions, and a fusion of classical and electronic music in collaboration with the MUTEK festival. Family activities will also be part of the program, making this event a must-attend for the summer.

Eight paid concerts will feature brilliant artists in captivating performances, including Saint-Saëns’ Piano Concerto No. 5 “Egyptian” and Bizet’s Spain with the famous classical guitarist Miloš.

By highlighting several cultural communities of Montreal, this edition of the Virée Classique promises to be a unifying and memorable event. Don’t miss this celebration of music and cultural diversity in the heart of Montreal.
