Tracing the History of Fashion in the 20th Century at Ogilvy

FreeFrom June 14 to July 5, dive into the stylistic evolution of the 20th century with the exhibition Retracing the History of Fashion. Admire 18 unique creations by graduates of Collège LaSalle, displayed on the 5th floor of Holt Renfrew Ogilvy. These contemporary works revisit the decades from 1950 to 2000, reflecting social changes through fashion.
These unique creations, are the result of a collaboration with multidisciplinary designer Jean-Claude Poitras, Collège LaSalle, and Le Grand Costumier, as part of the documentary series L’histoire de la mode à Montréal – L’habit comme miroir de la société de MAtv”.
After a public vote, six of the pieces will be selected to be displayed in the entrance hall of the McCord Stewart Museum from July 12 to August 23.
