Christmas Magic Takes Over Downtown Montreal

On Saturday, November 21, 2026, at 11am, the Montreal Santa Claus Parade returns for its 74th edition! Expect a dozen festive floats, marching bands, more than 1,000 performers and volunteers, and of course, Santa Claus and the Fairy of the Stars. The perfect way to kick off the holiday season in downtown Montreal!

A Holiday Tradition for the Whole Family

This year, the parade will make its way along René-Lévesque Boulevard, starting at Drummond Street and ending at Saint-Urbain Street. Bring the kids, find your spot along the route, and watch the holiday magic unfold with colourful floats, beloved Christmas characters, and plenty of festive cheer. Best of all, this family-friendly outing is completely free!

Our tip: Arrive around 9:30 or 10am to grab a good viewing spot, and take public transit to avoid downtown traffic.
