International First Peoples Festival 2024 in Montreal. Celebrate Indigenous cultures with concerts, films, dances, and exhibitions from August 6 to 15

From August 6 to 15, 2024, the International First Peoples Festival (FIPA) returns for its 34th edition, bringing the heart of Montreal to life with a vibrant celebration of Indigenous cultures. For ten days, the Place des Festivals will become a hub of encounters, sharing, and discovery.

The festival features a rich and diverse program including concerts, dance, poetry, artistic performances, and over 60 films in competition. Attendees can immerse themselves in Indigenous art through exhibitions, conferences, and shows, all reflecting the traditions and resilience of the First Peoples.

The Place des Festivals will be transformed with scenography inspired by Indigenous cosmovision, including a large central teepee and a long house. This immersive environment will showcase the beauty and depth of Indigenous culture, both ancient and contemporary.

Don’t miss this unique opportunity to experience the world of Indigenous nations, celebrate their heritage, and take part in a festival that highlights their creativity and cultural richness in the heart of Montreal.
