FreeMontreal centre-ville’s member companies invite you to Square Victoria for a lively lunchtime this summer. Throughout the summer season, enjoy free concerts in the splendid Square Victoria. On August 22, Thomas Ariell will entertain the square!
Hailing from Palmarolle in Abitibi-Témiscamingue, Thomas Ariell is a young Quebec singer-songwriter. He started playing music at the age of 4, and began writing his own songs around the age of 13. In 2017, at the age of 17, he left his northern kingdom and settled in Montreal to study music, write and perform. Inhabited by existential questioning and the complexity of our world, Thomas Ariell officially launched his solo project in 2022 and has been performing all over the emerging Montreal scene, accompanied by his musicians. Inspired by American folk and 90s rock, the 23-year-old Abitibi-born Montrealer wants the rest of the world to hear his personal and committed lyrics. His first track “Nos Ailes” was released in June 2023, and his first EP in autumn 2023.
Musical performances cancelled in case of bad weather.
