Presence of the past, from MC Snow at the McCord Stewart Museum

This spring, the McCord Stewart Museum welcomes Kanien’kehá:ka artist MC Snow. Through 2 original works, he explores the emotions and messages conveyed by the Kanien’kehá:ka objects in the Museum’s Indigenous Cultures collection.

To underscore the importance of researching and preserving Aboriginal cultural assets, more than forty objects from the collection accompany the artist’s works, including pottery, baby carriers, dolls and arrows.
