An artistic experience for all ages

On Saturdays, October 5, November 2, December 7, 2024, and January 4, 2025, the Musée d’art contemporain (MAC) invites families to enjoy a morning or afternoon of creativity at Place Ville Marie. This program includes an immersive tour of the exhibition Alanis Obomsawin: The Children Have to Hear Another Story, followed by a painting workshop inspired by themes of nature and dreams. Guided by passionate mediators, participants will explore the works of this renowned Indigenous artist and express themselves through their own creations.

A time for sharing and discovery

The MAC en famille activity is designed to foster intergenerational exchange while sparking the creativity of the youngest participants. By observing the artworks and discussing the themes addressed by Alanis Obomsawin, children and their parents will gain new perspectives on Indigenous realities. A unique artistic experience to dream together and let imagination flow freely.

Limited spots available – $15 per adult. Free for children.
