On view through September 20, Sweet Speech marks artist Keerat Kaur’s first solo museum exhibition in Canada at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts.

Inspired by the concept of mithi boli (“sweet speech” in Punjabi), the exhibition invites visitors into a dreamlike world where language, imagination, and kindness intertwine. Through luminous, surreal works, Kaur creates poetic landscapes filled with symbols, personal stories, and figures that seem to drift somewhere between fantasy and reality.
