The Sounds of the World Take Over Downtown
From July 7 to 19, the Festival International Nuits d’Afrique celebrates its 40th anniversary with a vibrant lineup bringing the sounds of Africa, the Caribbean, and Latin America to the heart of Montreal.
For nearly two weeks, the Quartier des Spectacles comes alive with concerts, free outdoor performances, dance workshops, and cultural experiences. More than 130 artists from over 30 countries will take part, including renowned performers such as Oumou Sangaré, Tiken Jah Fakoly, Admiral T, and Tabou Combo.
Music, Dance, and Discoveries All Summer Long
From intimate concert halls to free outdoor stages, Nuits d’Afrique transforms downtown into a lively gathering place where cultures, rhythms, and stories from around the world come together.
Whether you’re dancing in front of a stage, discovering a new artist, or simply soaking up the atmosphere, it’s one of Montreal’s most vibrant summer festivals.
