Free concert by Weedon in Square Phillips

Montreal centre-ville’s member companies invite you to Square Phillips for a lively afterwork this summer. Throughout the summer season, enjoy free concerts in the splendid Square Phillips. On August 13, Weedon will entertain the square!

Marcus Quirion and Julien Thibault formed Weedon in the fall of 2022, in a cottage in the town of the same name. Accomplices and colleagues for over ten years, the duo first made a name for themselves with Édwar 7, a pop/rock quartet from the early 2010s. Weedon’s debut album is entirely composed by four hands, with a minimalist, straightforward folk sound. The Eastern Townships duo released their first single, Magog, on September 1, 2023, while their album “Dis moi que j’t’aime” came out in early 2024.
