May is slowly settling into downtown Montreal, bringing that in-between moment where the city still can\u2019t quite decide if it\u2019s spring or summer. Between Mother\u2019s Day, the return of outdoor events, and the growing buzz around Grand Prix weekend<\/a>, downtown is gradually slipping back into its summer energy.<\/p>\n

And as always, a few new spots have joined the neighbourhood. Here are 5 new places to check out in downtown Montreal this May.<\/strong><\/p>\n

After Longueuil and Brossard, Taiyo is now opening a third location downtown<\/strong> with a brand new concept spread across three floors. Each level offers a completely different experience, turning the restaurant into a full Japanese dining destination.<\/p>\n

The first floor focuses on all-you-can-eat Japanese BBQ<\/strong> with grills built right into the tables. The second is dedicated to all-you-can-eat sushi<\/strong>, while an Izakaya & Bar<\/strong> will soon open on the third floor.
