When New Year\u2019s Eve arrives, downtown Montreal turns into a true playground of celebrations. With standout menus, dazzling parties and first morning of the year brunches, there is so much happening that it is easy to lose track.<\/p>\n

So we have gathered everything for you, the best tables<\/strong>, the most anticipated parties<\/strong> and the can\u2019t miss January 1st brunches<\/strong>. A simple way to see at a glance everything the heart of the city has in store to welcome 2026 in style.<\/p>\n

Restaurants<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Les Enfants Terribles<\/a> are hosting an elegant and festive New Year\u2019s Eve celebration under the Ring, available by reservation for $175 per person. The evening includes a four course menu<\/strong>, an open bar<\/strong> from midnight to two thirty, a DJ<\/strong> throughout the night and a countdown<\/strong> to welcome the new year. Guests can also enjoy a Caviar Bump service as well as a selection of private import wines and champagnes.<\/p>\n

At Maison Boulud<\/a> in the Ritz Carlton Montreal, a six course tasting menu<\/strong> is served at nine in the evening for $450. This refined experience highlights seasonal products in an elegant setting that opens onto the hotel garden.<\/p>\n

Restaurant Bivouac<\/a>, located in the DoubleTree by Hilton Montreal, offers a festive menu<\/strong> inspired by local ingredients<\/strong> and a view over downtown and Place des Arts. Part social club, part artisanal bar and part modern bistro, the restaurant also invites guests to celebrate inside its heated outdoor domes<\/strong> overlooking the Place des Festivals for a unique experience.<\/p>\n

For a gourmet evening, Tbsp.<\/a> presents a special menu <\/strong>for $135 per person. Access to the W Montreal New Year\u2019s celebration is also included, subject to availability.<\/p>\n

Restaurant h3<\/a> features a festive sharing menu<\/strong> served in three waves<\/strong>. Two options are available: a first service before seven in the evening at $140 or a second service starting at eight in the evening at $155 with a glass of sparkling wine at midnight. A wine pairing selected by the sommelier is also offered.<\/p>\n

At the HONEYROSE Hotel, COMMODORE<\/a> serves a five course menu<\/strong> for $130, with sparkling wine included. The atmosphere echoes the spirit of a French bistro in the heart of downtown.<\/p>\n

At the Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth<\/a>, Ros\u00e9lys<\/a> presents a celebratory New Year\u2019s Eve with a kir followed by a seven course menu<\/strong> created by chef Edgar Trudeau Ferrin. Live music accompanies the entire meal to mark the arrival of the new year.<\/p>\n

Le Boulevardier<\/a> at Le Germain Montreal offers a six course menu<\/strong> with wine pairings<\/strong> and a complimentary glass of champagne<\/strong>. A performance by the group DaRoy adds a warm and lively note to close out the year.<\/p>\n

Inside the Montreal Marriott Ch\u00e2teau Champlain, Lloyd<\/a> hosts a festive buffet<\/strong> with the option to extend the night at the Caf’ Conc’<\/a> during a live performance<\/strong> by the group Shine. This intimate venue, inspired by the spirit of the roaring twenties, brings an immersive touch to the celebration.<\/p>\n

At Ferreira<\/a>, a chic Portuguese restaurant well known in downtown Montreal, New Year\u2019s Eve is celebrated with a special holiday menu available by reservation. Two dinner services are offered, allowing guests to choose between an early evening meal or an experience that unfolds later into the night.<\/p>\n

At Time Out Market<\/a>, visitors can extend the celebrations with a special holiday offering.
