SUMMARY:On the Menu. Montreal: A Restaurant Story
DESCRIPTION:Montreal Seen Through Its Restaurants\nDive into the creativity and diversity that have shaped Montreal’s culinary scene since the 1960s. From beloved delicatessens to refined gastronomic experiences\, the exhibition highlights how local restaurants have helped define the identity of both Montreal and Quebec. \nTelling this story in full would be impossible. The city has seen countless legendary spots\, vanished kitchens\, and influential yet sometimes forgotten figures. On the Menu. Montreal: A Restaurant Story instead presents a selection of iconic establishments that reflect the evolution of the city’s neighbourhoods\, communities\, and tastes.

SUMMARY:Espace Accalmie at Palais des congrès
DESCRIPTION:An immersive escape inspired by the landscapes of Charlevoix\nIn the heart of Montréal’s Palais des congrès\, Espace Accalmie offers an immersive experience designed to help visitors slow down and disconnect from the pace of the city. Created by paysages studio in collaboration with MT Lab and Tourisme Charlevoix\, the installation transforms a simple break into a calming urban retreat. \nInside a softly lit room\, visitors are surrounded by large-scale projections filmed along the St. Lawrence River between Baie-Saint-Paul and Baie-des-Rochers. Waves\, wind\, migratory birds and an original sound composition come together in a soothing audiovisual experience inspired by the landscapes of Charlevoix. Presented Thursday through Saturday\, the experience simply invites guests to sit back\, breathe and let themselves drift for a while. \nA calming experience designed to help you unplug\nConceived as an immersive refuge in the middle of the city\, Espace Accalmie combines high-resolution projections\, spatial sound design and a peaceful atmosphere in an intimate space welcoming only a small number of participants at a time. \nDesigned around the calming effects of contemplative environments\, the experience offers a real mental pause from Montréal’s fast-moving rhythm. The original soundtrack\, created by Montréal sound artist Lina Choi\, accompanies the projections to create a soft and immersive atmosphere inspired by Québec’s natural landscapes. Herbal tea is also served on site to extend the experience a little longer. \nReserve your experience here.
